He is survived by: his child Frankie; his wife Carol Ann Crowley (Pitts); and his daughters, Donna Marie Keene (Rick Keene) of Tewksbury and Patricia Anne Fitzgerald (Edward Fitzgerald) of Wilmington.

Should friends desire, contributions in his memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
