He was predeceased by: his sibling Anna Leo. He is survived by: his spouse Assunta "Susan" Masse (Baldassarre); his children, Robert J. Masse, Stephen V. Masse (Andrea Laws), Paul F. Masse (Marcia), Mary G. Fowler (John) and John C. Masse (Kathleen); his siblings, Henry Masse, Helen Vozzella, Mary Masse and Vincent Masse; his grandchildren, Paul Vasta (Ashley), Carla Fowler, Peter Vasta, Cole Masse and Poiret Masse; and his great grandchildren, Raymond Vasta and Sophia Vasta. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
