She was predeceased by: her spouse Thomas L. Callahan; her parents, Joseph Beaton and Bridie Beaton (Byrne); and her brother William. She is survived by: her daughters, Irene Short (late John) of Malden and Kathleen Fitzgerald (late John R.) of Rockport; her brothers, Leo Beaton, Harold and Kenneth Beaton; and her grandchildren, Michael Short, William Short, Christopher Short, Jonathan D. Fitzgerald and Jennifer L. LaFountain. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, 10 great great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
