He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Shapiro and Samuel Shapiro. He is survived by: his wife Gail Wallis Shapiro of Lynn, MA; and his siblings, Judy (Harold Kramer), Bob (Pat Shapiro), Carol (Keith Wallis) and Barbie Wallis of Lynn, MA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
