She was predeceased by : her parents, Wilson Bowen and Cecelia Bowen (MacNeil); and her sisters, Mary Chatlos and Anna Forshner. She is survived by : her husband John F. Filippi; her children, Mark Filippi (Deborah) of Wilmington, Kathleen R. Filippi-Brown (Benjamin) of Malden and Valerie Giambrone (Michael) of Revere; and her grandchildren, Michael Giambrone (Ashley) of Salem, Alicia Giambrone of Revere and Michelle Penta (Christopher) of South Windsor, CT.

Visitation was held on Thursday, June 27th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home (65 Clark St, Everett, MA 02149). A funeral service was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Anthony Church (38 Oakes St, Everett, MA 02149).
