With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol McCarthy of Malden, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 4, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald McCarthy; her parents, Michael Fucci and Catherine Fucci; and her brother Michael Fucci. She is survived by: her children, Joanne Witham of Melrose, John Witham of Malden, Derek Witham (Adrina Aurite) of Malden, Gerald McCarthy of Malden and Gary McCarthy of Bedford, NH.; her sisters, Carmella Nelson (William) of Malden, Frances Muise (late Earl) of Everett, Bridget Bryan (late William) of Medford, Charlotte Brickley (Arthur), Anna Fitzpatrick and Carolyn Brett; her grandchildren, Nicole, Trevor, Danielle, Victor, Cameron, Reece, Evan, Adam, Bridget and Erin; and her friend Doris Solis of Malden. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Carol's name be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.at the address listed below.
