He was predeceased by: his mother Carol Anne Ames (Moquin); and his stepmother Janet C. Golini (Micarelli). He is survived by: his father Charles H. Ames III; his siblings, Kelly, Tammy Ames and Chuck Ames; his sister-in-law Vanessa Ames; his girlfriend Lisa Burack; his nieces and nephews, Alex, Gwen, Holly, Paige, Ruby and Charlie; and also Susan Turilli. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Keefe Funeral Home - Arlington (5 Chestnut St, Arlington, MA 02474). The military honors was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
