He is survived by: his children, Paul Kennedy (Deborah), Anne Hourihan (Mark) and John Kennedy (Sharon); his grandchildren, Kate Freeman (Brad), Courtney Willard (Randy), Sara Cully (Broghan), Rob Kennedy, Dan Kennedy, Mike Kennedy (Isabella), Mark Hourihan (Mollie) and Christine Kennedy; and his great grandchildren, Liam, Rory Freeman, Luke, Noah Willard, Grace, Maeve Hourihan and Kiehl Cully.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent in his memory to St. Mary's High School in Lynn, MA.
