He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia R. Haggis (Gatta); and his parents, Charles Haggis and Julia Haggis (Kallias). He is survived by: his children, Gregory Haggis (Lisa) of Lynnfield, Julie Haggis of Wakefield and Deanna Prestone of Revere; his son-in-law Dana Prestone; his grandchildren, Daniella, Julianna, Christina, Melina and Derek; and his brother Emanuel Haggis (late Judith) of Saugus. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
