He was predeceased by: his parents, Irving D. Melendy and Laura Melendy (Mosley); and his wife Patricia Melendy (Welsh). He is survived by: his children, Garth Melendy, Holly Alexander, Jennifer Grealey (John) of Medford, Andrea Markarian Jones (Michel Jones) of Lynnfield and Stephen Markarian (Elizabeth) of Rowley Cherished; his grandchildren, Ethan Wilson, Madelyn Grealey, Kiley, Lucas and Emma Markarian; and his sibling Meredith Turner of North Reading.
