He was predeceased by: his parents, John Yanakakis and Betty Yanakakis (Pappas). He is survived by: his wife Lindsey Yanakakis (Ralph); his sons, Jack Yanakakis and Sam Yanakakis; and his siblings, Cleo Alexander, Carol Jefferson, Lisa Yanakakis and Michael Yanakakis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
