She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Harry D. Rouse; her parents, Harry B. and Emma Watts (Voght); her children, William D. Rouse (Dorothy) of Maine, Douglas A. Rouse, Cathy Spaulding of Merrimac and Stephen C. Rouse (Paula) of Florida; her grandchildren, William Rouse, Jr., Craig, Eric and Keith Rouse; and her siblings, Alfred Watts, Shirley Watts and Robert Watts. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Virginia's memory may be made to the Grace United Methodist Church, 374 Broadway, Lynn, MA 01904.
