He is survived by: his children, Frances Martinez (Felix) of Lynn, Jahaira Moncion (Francisco) of Lynn, Pieranllely Taveras (Angel) of New Jersey, Silvio Jhoan Taveras (Lisbeth) of Lynn, Jorge "Ali" Taveras of New York, Carlos Julio Taveras (Janet) of New York, Michael Taveras (Karen), Rosa Siltanen (Mara) of Florida and Danilda Reyes (Edgar) of New York. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
