He was predeceased by: his former wife Joyce Valente; his son Joseph A. Valente; and his parents, Pasquale Valente and Annunziata Valente (Albano). He is survived by: his daughters, Darlene Figueroa (Indio Figueroa) of Lynn, Lena Crowley (Michael Crowley) of Peabody, Pauline Valente (Dennis MacDonald) of Lynn, Nancy Valente of Lynn, Theresa Valente of Lynn and Joyce Valente of Lynn; his daughter-in-law Kristen Brown of Salem; his sons, Sten Cook (Tina Cook) of Lynn and Patrick Valente of Waltham; and his close friend Charlie. He is also survived by his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
