She was predeceased by: her father William Smith; her husband David Morrissey; and her brother David Smith. She is survived by: her children, Jim Morrissey (Julie Kliger) of Oakland, CA, Ellen Looney (Peter) of Wakefield, Suzanne Rubbico (Bill) of Swampscott, Paul Morrissey (Sarah) of Winthrop and Caroline Reardon (Tom) of Quincy; her grandchildren, Amanda Conway (Michael), Amy Looney, Daniel Looney (Jasmine), David Morrissey (Ashley) and James Morrissey; her great grandchildren, Joseph, Ryan, William and Benjamin Conway; her siblings, Phyllis Cabral (Richard), Paul Smith (Karen) and Richard Smith (Sheila); and her sister-in-law Priscilla Smith.
