He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Karish and Mary Karish (Powers); his wife Mary Clare Karish (Carney); and his siblings, Eleanor Neville and Edward Karish.
He is survived by: his children, Dr. Mary V. Karish-Dodge (Jeffrey E. Dodge) of Attleboro, Joan F. Karish of Lynn, Patricia M. Karish-Friedman (Stephen) of Israel and Robert A. Karish (Kristine) of Salem; his grandchildren, Ora Laufer-Schrier (Robert Schrier), Jeffrey R. Dodge and Maura C. Dodge; and his great grandchildren, Yonina, Yehuda, Akiva and Joshua Schrier. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
