He was predeceased by: his wife Louise Burt (Marengi); his parents, Clayton Burt and Ursala Burt (Pierce); his son Robert T. Burt; and his brothers, Frederick and William Burt.
He is survived by: his sons, Alan Burt (Sarah) of Hollis, NH, James Burt of Lynn and Timothy Burt (Alexandria Pena) of Lynn; his grandchildren, Savannah, Erika, Cory, Evan, Kaitlin, Christian, Taylee and Trevor; his stepgrandchildren, Emma Bates and Nathan Espinal; his great grandchildren, Rook, Rye, Goldie and Harper; his sisters, Mary Cameron (Thomas), Kathaleen O'Neil (late Bob) and Barbara White (William); and his sister-in-law Virginia Marengi (late Richard). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Solimine Funeral Home - Broadway (426 Broadway, Lynn, MA 01904). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Solimine Funeral Home (426 Broadway, Lynn, MA 01904). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Pius V Church (215 Maple St, Lynn, MA 01904).
