It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Lillian (Helmke) Powell Williams (Lynn, Massachusetts), born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on May 30, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore A. Helmke and Ivaloe K. Helmke (Stolpe); and her sister Phyllis Klotz. She is survived by: her children, Michelle Dunbar (Hugh) of Chatham, Christopher Powell (Mary Ellen) of Mystic, CT and Philip Powell (Sally) of Swampscott; her grandchildren, Roy Dunbar, Jillian Losik (Kyle), Ryan Powell, Andrew Powell, Solina Powell and Anthony Powell; and her great grandchild Elizabeth Losik. She is also survived by her niece and nephew.
