He was predeceased by: his wife Anna May Hayward; and his daughters, Virginia "Gigi" Colucello and Pamela "Pam" Zachari. He is survived by: his children, William Hayward (Lynne), Stephen Hayward (Keely Johnson), Joseph Colucello Jr., Debra Ladue (Allen), Susan Buchanan (David), JoAnn Brinton (Mark), Carolyn Maribito (Wayne) and Ruthann Marchand (Matthew). He is also survived by his 35 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
