He was predeceased by: his parent Leonard Kimber. He is survived by: his parent Alice Kimber (Poitier); his children, Desjardin Baez and Franshelis Baez; his siblings, Alan, Leonard, Arden, Tracy and Iris; his brother-in-law William Gasper of Lynn; his nieces and nephews, Christopher Gasper (Elizabeth Bench) of Boston, Stephen Gasper, Rayne Gasper of Los Angeles, Jasmine Johnson and Sara Johnson of Kansas City; and his close friend Kevin Eramian.
