She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Anderson and Evelena Anderson of Lynn Massachusetts; and her brother Sterling Anderson. She is survived by: her husband Edmund Carleton Brown Sr.; her siblings, Arlene Carter, Barbara Mimms and Warren Anderson; her children, Deborah Evelyn Brown-Cooke (Charles) of Leland, NC and Edmund C. Brown Jr. (Joanna) of Jacksonville, NC; her grandchildren, Dawn Brown-Evans (Quintin) of Hope Mills, NC, Edmund Carleton Brown III of Kalamazoo, MI and Dr. Michelle Pearl Cooke of Mount Pleasant, SC.; and her great grandchildren, Quintin Jr., Joel, Issac and Aimee Evans of Hope Mills, NC.
