He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kalantzis and Efstathia Kalantzis (Merakoulia); and his brother Konstantinos. He is survived by: his spouse Vasillo Kalantzis (Bakis); his sons, John and Elias Kalantzis; his sister Athina Ziavras; his sister-in-law Katerina Kalantzis; his nephews, Peter and John Kalantzis; and his brother Elias Kalantzis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
