With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marie O'Brien of Lynn, Massachusetts, born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 9, 2022 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John D. O'Brien; her parents, Albert Cadarette and Theresa Cadarette (Maxwell); her daughter Marie Dixon; her son-in-law Dick Gallagher; and her brother Burt Cadarette.
She is survived by: her children, Pat Riley (John) of Lynn, Bev McGinn (Jay) of North Conway, NH, Kevin O'Brien of Lynn, Terry Arena of North Reading and Bill O'Brien (Donna) of Lynnfield; her children-in-law, John Dixon of Saugus and Kathy O'Brien of Wyoming; her brother Jack Cadarette (Jane) of North Andover; her son Jim O'Brien; her child-in-law Nat Arena; and her sibling Claire Tatulis. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and seven nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Marie's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
