She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Bates and Mary Bates (Flynn); and her daughter Toni Ann DiVirgilio. She is survived by: her husband Tony; her children, Michael A. Puleo of Lynn and Kathleen Mello (Richard) of Danvers; her granddaughters, Julie M. DiVirgilio and Sylvia Rose Mello; and her daughter Elizabeth S. Puleo. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
