We are sad to announce that on May 29, 2023, at the age of 81, Linda M Thistle of Lynn, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Neil MacNeill and Ella MacNeill (Parsons); her daughter Cheryl Poppel; and her siblings, Neil MacNeill, Mary Chandler, Jean Savio, Marjorie Ann Pelkey, Priscilla "Libby" Thistle, Ella Mae Sewell and Frances Perkins.
She is survived by: her children, Harvard "Sam" L. Thistle Jr. of Cape Cod, David J. Thistle, Kenneth (Andrea Thistle) of Billerica and Lori Ernsberger of Lynn; and her brothers, Donald (Claire MacNeill) and Otis (Bonita MacNeill). She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
