She was predeceased by: her parents, Christopher Shields and Edna Shields (Jones); her grandson Willie T. Spain'; her great grandchild Davien Vaughn; and her siblings, Gerald, Jean, Bernatte, Joan, Arthur, Juanita and Elsie.
She is survived by: her husband Murray Spain, Sr.; her children, Linda Spain, Dr. Murray Spain, Jr. (Sharon), Apostle Melanie Spain, Debra Spain (Freddie), Dana Spain, Shawn Spain, Dawn Spain, Lita Spain (Noel), Nola Spain Jefferson (Tarus) and Madrid Spain (Jermaine); and her grandchildren, Ronda Spain, Etoya-Spain Vaughn, Damien Spain (Dayanis), Leon Spain (Tricia), Laticia Spain Omosefe (Kingsley), Jason Spain, Donald Toussaint, Lakeya Anderson, Titana Toussaint, Jamaze Toussaint, Jovanda Spain, Jarius Spain, Jalisa Hunter, Gene Anderson, Jarne Spain-Hunter (Marquis), London Spain, Chris Hagan, Josiah Spain, Asia Spain-Dixon, England Spain-Alexander, Keith Nance, Janora Spain-Grant, Joshua Hunter, Ayanna Jefferson, Treshaun Spain and Madrid Spain. She is also survived by 27 Great Grandchildren, 3 Great Great Grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
