With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Josephine A. Mahoney of Lynn, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 19, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Isadore Garofalo and Lonero "Lucy" Garofalo (Vitale); her husband John J. Mahoney; her son Mike Mahoney (Janet); and her siblings, Salvatore, Fred, Mary, Angelo, John Garofalo, Vincent Vitale, Sam Vitali and Lena Nasuti.
She is survived by: her children, John Mahoney (Candy), Diane Nocella (Jimmy) and Joanne Mahoney Speropolous (Charles); her grandchildren, Jonathan, Jennifer, Joseph, Kerri (A. J.), Michael (Genevieve), Matthew, Tyler (Carli), Meghan and Christopher; her great grandchildren, Colby, Casey, Colin, Caunor, Malachi, Melanie, James and Jack; and her friends, Pat and Rose. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
