He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard J. Holey and Mary Holey (Cronin); and his siblings, Leonard J. Holey, Jr., Mark Holey and Patricia Fitzgerald.

He is survived by: his wife Diane L. (Signor); his sons, Marc C. (Lisa Holey) of Lynn and Joseph M. (Kerri Connolly) of Lynn; his siblings, Peter Holey of Lynn, Paul (Karen Holey) of Lynn and Susan (Rudolph DeLuties) of Lynn; and his grandchildren, Colin Joseph Holey of Lynn and Ava Marie Holey of Lynn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Parker Funeral Home (35 Franklin St, Lynn, MA 01902). A procession was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Pius V Church (215 Maple St, Lynn, MA 01904).
