He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul J. Moriarty and Cecelia Moriarty (Butler); his brother Paul J. Moriarty; his granddaughter Kristina Chiarodonna; and his brothers-in-law, Robert and Bruce Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Glenna E. (Taylor); his sons, John H. (Carrie Moriarty, Jr.) of Peabody and Michael S. Moriarty, Sr. of Lynn; his sister Mary Lannon of Lynn; his brother-in-law Gene (Anne Taylor) of Athol; his grandchildren, Christian LeBlanc of Peabody, Michael S. Moriarty, Jr. of El Paso, TX and Ashley Moriarty of Lynn; his great grandchild Jonathan Rojas; and his grandchild Layne A Moriarty. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
