He was predeceased by: his wife Cheryl A. Madden (Cook); and his parents, Fredrick Harold and Lillie S. Madden. He is survived by: his sister Carole E. Madden of Suffolk, VA; his nephews, Robert Preston, Jr. (Nicki) of Suffolk, VA and William Preston (Leanne) of Dunbarton, NH; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Robert Preston, III (Ashley Phifer) of Suffolk, VA, Sean Preston of Greer, SC, Hollie Preston (Tyler Corson) of Litchfield, NH, William Preston, Jr. of Goffstown, NH and Kyle Alfonsin of Acworth, GA; and his sister-in-law Kathy Cook of Ayer.
