He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Hollow and Florence Hollow (Fay); his daughter Mariellen Hollow; his parents-in-law, Walter and Phyllis Kelter; his brothers, Thomas, Robert and William Hollow (Susan); and his brothers-in-law, Walter and John Kelter.
He is survived by: his wife Mary M. Hollow (Kelter); his son John F. Hollow, Jr. (Sandra) of Winthrop; his grandchildren, Matthew and Alyssa Hollow; his son Thomas W. Hollow Sr. (Anne) of Haverhill; his grandchildren, John T. and Thomas Hollow Jr. (T. J.); his daughter Marijean (Paul Halas Sr.) of Lynn; his grandchildren, Paul Jr. and Marianne Halas (Sean Fortier); his daughter Joanne (Michael Marks) of Lynn; his grandchildren, Jack, Christopher, Nicholas, Terry, Michael and Katie Marks; his brother Michael Hollow (Gail); his uncle Donald Hollow; his sisters-in-law, Margie Hollow, Mary Kelter and Flo Kelter; and also, Harper, Dennis C. Hollow of Lynn, Hannah Hollow and Jennifer Speiser (Jamie). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
