He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Hnath and Anna Hnath (Falasca); his brother Anthony Hnath; and his brother-in-law Ernest Timpani. He is survived by: his wife June E. Hnath (Nichol); his sons, John A. Hnath, Jr. (Michele) and Jared Hnath (Jessica); his grandchildren, John Hnath, Alexa Hnath and Aaliyah Hoey; and his siblings, Susan Timpani, Michael Hnath, Arlene Naugle (Richard), Donna Hammond (Donald) and Marlene Hnath. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
