It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe Ahern of Lynn, Massachusetts, born in Everett, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 17, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Joseph and Mary Genevieve Ahern (Bowdren); and his siblings, Patricia Marsh, Richard Ahern, Kevin Ahern and Maureen Ahern.
He is survived by: his wife Diane; his children, Jennifer Ahern McMasters of Thomas Joseph and Audra Ahern Smith; and his grandchildren, Daniel "DJ" Smith, Emma Ahern, Adam Smith and Andrew Smith.
