He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonios Dakopoulos and Maria Dakopoulou (Hrisou). He is survived by: his wife Dimitra "Toula" Dakopoulos; his children, Antonios "Tony" Dakopoulos (Betty) of Arlington and Maria Mesgar (David) of Wenham; his grandchildren, Christopher, Maria, Demetri Dakopoulos, Benjamin, James and Vivian Mesgar; his sister Eleni Stefanides of Lynn; and his siblings-in-law, Mary, Vasiliki and Dimitri. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces & nephews, godchildren and wonderful friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Solimine Funeral Home - Broadway (426 Broadway, Lynn, MA 01904). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. George Greek Orthodox Church (54 S Common St, Lynn, MA 01902).
