He was predeceased by: his father Herbert George; and his siblings, Sharon Coddington and James Maxwell. He is survived by: his son Herb Durant; his wife Brandi; his grandchildren, Desiray, Abby, Jackson, Audrey and Logan; and his brothers, George "Buddy" Durant (Teresa) and Clinton Durant (Pam). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
