She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Mercado (Papito) and Olinda Cespedes; and her son Rufin Arias. She is survived by: her children, Luisa Cespedes, Daniel Arias, Rafael Arias, Jarlin Arias, Manuel Salvador, Nalda Cespedes, Alberto Cespedes and Ellys Guerrero.
