He was predeceased by: his father Milton Kozakis; and his grandparents, George, Elefteria Kozakis, Spyridon and Popi Lekkas.
He is survived by: his mother Rena Kozakis of Lynn; his brothers, Chris Kozakis of Lynnfield and Spiros Kozakis of Lynn; his nephews, Chris Kozakis Jr. and Niko Kozakis of Lynnfield; his close friend Billy Hall of Woburn; his niece Alyssa Kozakis of Pittsfield; and his great-nephew Eric Spiess of Pittsfield.
In lieu of flowers, George's wishes are that donations be made to the Expect Miracles Foundation or Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
