It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eleanor Whyte of Lynn, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 6, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Eleanor Whyte to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles "Red" Hoffman and Sadie Hoffman (Kane); her daughter Julie A. Donaghy; and her brother Charles Hoffman, Jr. (Virginia). She is survived by: her husband Eric C. Whyte, Sr.; her children, Marcie Armstrong (David) and Eric C. Whyte, Jr. (Lisa); her grandchildren, Jon, Sean, Brian, Thomas, Kerry, Eric James, Eric Thomas and Jack; her great grandchildren, Kyla, Dominic, Mackenna, Rowan and Taytum; and her brother John Hoffman (Jean). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lynn Cancer Society in memory of Ellie's loving daughter, Julie A. Donaghy or to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 220 Main Street, Suite 104, Natick, MA 01780 in the hopes a cure will be found to ensure a full life for her much loved grandson, Brian.
