He was predeceased by: his parent Edward F. McCarthy. He is survived by: his parent Mary Argentina McCarthy; and his siblings, Agnes Serino of Salem, Rita Rebidue of Lynn, MaryEllen McCarthy of Lynn, Henry P. McCarthy and William D. McCarthy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews who will always remember their wisecracking, big-hearted uncle.
