David E. Wonoski Obituary

David E. Wonoski, age 66, of Lynn, died unexpectedly Tuesday July 11th at his home after a lengthy illness. Born in Saugus he was the son of the late Edward R. Wonoski and his wife Pat of Fort Meyers, FL, and Janet E. (Boivin) Giles and her partner Ed Flaherty of Wakefield, MA. Dave attended Lynn schools and graduated from Lynn Vocational Technical Institute, Class of 1975. Dave became a Master Electrician and worked out of the IBEW Local 103. He enjoyed the ocean, lobster rolls, steamers and walking along Lynn and Nahant Beach as often as he could.

He is survived by three children David E. Wonoski and his partner Kacey Dube of Manchester, NH their children Justin P. Wonoski, Katheryn Pacella, and Jayden Wonoski, Nick and his wife Nikki Wonoski of Brentwood, NH, their children Alex Wonoski and Jayson Wonoski. Kayla G. Wonoski of Aberdeen, NJ and her children Nate J. Wright and Isaiah N. Wright. And the late Angela A.Wonoski.

His siblings Ken and his wife Karen Wonoski of Beverly, their son Michael and his wife Ashley of Chester, NH, Debbie Wonoski of Manchester, NH her son Zack and his wife Marissa Snow Meredith , NH, and their children Wyatt and Isla Snow. The late Kim Wonoski-Moore and her husband Dave Moore of Wakefield, MA, their children Steve Moore of Portland, ME, Brian Moore of Wakefield.

The mother of Dave’s children and caregiver Ginny Griffin of Lynn and Terrie O’Brien and wife Kim Figueira of Wakefield.

Service Details: Memorial visiting hours will be held at the Parker Funeral Home, 35 Franklin St. Lynn on Monday from 4:00 – 6:00 PM to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Please make memorial donations in Dave’s name to Lynn Tech Alumni Association at lvtiaa.org
