She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Cheever, Sr.; her parents, Patrick Kiersey and Anastasia Kiersey (Mooney); her son Micheal Cheever; her grandson Thomas Cheever; her siblings, Maureen O'Connell, John Kiersey and Nora Lamoreaux-Atkinson; and her children-in-law, Donna Cheever, Miguel Keyes and Susan Cheever (O'Donnell).
She is survived by: her children, Donald Cheever, Jr. (Gary Cheever), Susan Cheever (John Cheever), Joel Cheever (Mary Berry), Toby Cheever (Stacie Doane) and Scott Cheever (Joanne Yaeger); her close friend Maureen Kidney; her siblings-in-law, Joan Cheever, Alice Cheever and Lenny Atkinson; and her son-in-law Ronald Berry. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren.
