He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Rivers and Carol Rivers (Melanson); his daughter Elaina E. Rivers; and his siblings, Scott, Timothy and Deborah.

He is survived by: his wife Pamela J.; his children, Joshua P. Rivers (Kara) of Aldie, VA and Samantha E. Rivers of Boston, MA; his brothers, Mark (Josephine Rivers) of Fitchburg, MA and Gregory (Mary Rivers) of Lunenburg, MA; his grandson Grayson; and his mother-in-law Jilda St. Martin. He is also survived by several brother and sister in-laws.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to a charity of your choice.
