He was predeceased by: his children, Margaret Mary, Joseph and Norman (Jean). He is survived by: his wife Vivian "Mimi"; his sister Sally Barg (Wnuk); his sons, Stephen (Haila), Vincent (Kathy) and John; his grandchildren, Julie, Paul, Cynthia, Andrea, Rebecca and Hannah; and his great grandchild Matthew. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
