He was predeceased by: his siblings, William R. Phelps (Jane) and Joan Selin; and his mother-in-law Leone Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Linda Hier; his daughters, Cheryl Becotte (Alan) of Winchendon, MA and Michelle Trani (Anthony) of Lebanon, CT.; his grandchildren, Adam, Thomas, Nicole Becotte, Leona and Lilly Trani; his brothers, Ralph W. Phelps, Jr. (Kelley) of Athol and Lawrence A. Hier (Mariann) of Ashby; his brother-in-law Pete Selin Sr.; and his nieces and nephews, Kristin Mathieu (Phelps), Brooke Dufresne (Phelps), Ashley Ouellette (Phelps), Christopher Phelps, Wendy Hubbard (Phelps), Brenda Peters (Phelps), Sandy Herndon (Selin), Michael Selin, Pete Selin Jr., Joe Progin and Dolly Brown.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Brandon Funeral Home (305 Wanoosnoc Rd, Fitchburg, MA 01420). A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
