He was predeceased by: his wife Molly Malone-Popieniuck; and his parents, Alexander Popieniuck and Marjorie I. Popieniuck (Wilkins). He is survived by: his grandchildren, Oliver, Vivienne, Harrison, Liam, Mia, Nora and Everest; and his siblings, Anthony A. Popieniuck (Lynne Michaud) of Bryant Pond, ME, Iris L. Belmore (K. B. Belmore) of Maynard, MA and Elizabeth A. Moore (Wendell D.) of Groton, MA. He is also survived by the mother of his children; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fowler-Kennedy Funeral Home (42 Concord St, Maynard, MA 01754). A graveside service was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Glenwood Cemetery (260 Great Rd, Maynard, MA 01754).
In honor of Peter's spirit, donations may be made in his memory to the Lunenburg Council on Aging (COA), 25 Memorial Drive, Lunenburg, MA, 01462.
