She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Melanson and Mary Melanson (Dowd); her husband Oscar Locy; and her brothers, Leon and Ernie Melanson.
She is survived by: her daughter Elizabeth Murphy (Jordan) of Lunenburg; and her grandson Rocket Murphy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
