She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Perez and Rosalina Crespo; her husband Rafael Rios; and her brothers, Salvadore Perez and Victor Laguer.
She is survived by: her children, Sonia Mack-Velez (Thomas Mack) of New Jersey and Antonio Velez Jr. (Janeth) of Lunenburg; her grandchildren, Priscilla Miranda, Antonio M. Velez, Alexander M. Velez and Nayomi Torres; and her siblings, Nancy Perez of Puerto Rico, Ada Laguer of New Jersey, Judith Laguer of New Hampshire, Linda Perez, Ivan Laguer of New Jersey, Nelson Laguer (Delise) of Puerto Rico, Antonio Perez (Wilma Rivera) of Puerto Rico and Florentino Mercado of New Jersey. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
