It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laurie J. Murphy (Lunenburg, Massachusetts), born in Everett, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 14, 2018, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Robert Powers. She is survived by: her child Sean Gargan of Pepperell; her parent Lorraine Powers; her pet Candy; her significant other Peter; her siblings, Maureen, John Dipierro of Saugus, Valerie, Donald Slater of Haverhill, Nancy Connelly of Everett, Thomas, Carla Powers of Danvers, Kimberly Carney of Salisbury Kristine, Kevin Babcock of Beverly, Kathleen and Paul Geary of Danvers; and her friend Nancy Comeau of Beverly. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to attend Laurie's funeral Mass which will be held in St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, 24 Conant Street, Danvers on Thursday, October 18th at 9 A.M. Visiting hours in the Peterson-O'Donnell Funeral Home, 167 Maple St., (rte. 62) Danvers on Wednesday, October 17th from 5 to 8 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Laurie's name to The Home for Little Wanderers, 10 Guest Street, Boston, MA 02135.
