We are sad to announce that on June 13, 2019, at the age of 83, Joyce Okerman (Lunenburg, Massachusetts), born in Boston, Massachusetts passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joyce Okerman to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Nylund and Anna Nylund (Leinonen); her husband Paul; and her brother Barry Tikka. She is survived by: her children, David Okerman (Joanne) of Hudson, Katherine Akerman of Townsend, Julie Brandt (William) of Aransas Pass, TX and Paula Patterson (William) of Townsend; and her sisters, Brenda Brier Beverly and Bonnie Brier Person of Westminster. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Burial will follow in the South Cemetery, Page Street, Lunenburg, MA In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society 3 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
