Gerene B. Maloney Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerene B. Maloney of Lunenburg, Massachusetts, born in Moncton, New Brunswick, who passed away on February 20, 2021 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gerene B. Maloney to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Napoleon Melanson and Dorilla Melanson (Williams); and her son Glen Maloney. She is survived by: her children, Grant Maloney (Kristi) of Ashburnham and Gisele Maloney of Lunenburg; her brother Armand Melanson; her sister-in-law Kathleen; her sister Odette of Lunenburg; her sister-in-law Sheila Connor (Maloney) of Rothesay; and her grandchildren, Andrew Shepherd, Marie Shepherd, James Maloney and Ryan Maloney. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral mass will be celebrated in private due to Covid-19 restrictions.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Lunenburg Senior Center, by check payable to: The Lunenburg Council on Aging Gift Fund, 25 Memorial Drive, Lunenburg, MA 01462.
